The University of Arkansas is a public co-educational university located in the city of Fayetteville in the state of Arkansas. It is a large university with nearly 20,000 enrolled students. It is best known for it’s degree programs in architecture, creative writing, agriculture and business.

Although the main campus is located in Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas also has eleven different campuses throughout the state, including the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences that is situated in the state capital of Little Rock. There are 14 different academic divisions covering a range of subject areas such as education, arts and life sciences.

The university’s Sam Walton College of Business (named after the founder of Wal-Mart) is one of the top undergraduate business schools at a public university in the USA. It was also ranked in the top 50 of graduate business schools in the country. Graduates from the college of business earn in excess of $43,000 once they graduate.

The city of Fayetteville has a population of around 70,000 people and is the third most populated city in the state of Arkansas. It is a great location for students and there is plenty to see and do. It is a picturesque city with many beautiful parks and a large and scenic botanical gardens. The city has been named as one of the most livable cities in the United States by Money Magazine. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment options to keep everyone busy.

Sports are very popular at the University of Arkansas and they have several successful teams. The Arkansas Razorbacks football team has won numerous national titles including nine SWC titles and three SEC Western Division titles. The baseball team is also very successful and they reached the 2004 and 2009 College World Series and got as far as the championship game. The most successful of all of the sports departments at the university is the track and field teams. The university’s track and field teams have won 42 national titles and many Olympians have graduated from the university including Alistair Cragg, Daniel Lincoln, and Michael Conley. The university also boasts both the world’s fastest man and fastest woman as alumni. The university has a large and well-facilitated fitness center that includes an Olympic sized swimming pool.

The university holds a huge range of events and activities throughout the year to keep everyone busy. There are also a whole host of cultural and entertainment facilities across the campus including art galleries and orchestras as well as holding rock concerts and more.

The University of Alabama adopts the Greek system and gives students the opportunity to join a sorority or fraternity whilst they are at university. These are a great way to enjoy university life and also be part of a group that will help you both socially and academically throughout college.

There are two student-run radio stations at the university as well as a 101-year old student newspaper and numerous magazines and publications that are regularly published. You can even get involved in the university television station - UATV.

You can choose to either live on campus or off campus. A large proportion of students choose to live on campus so they can experience everything that the university has to offer as well as being at the heart of college life. There are a range of on campus accommodation options including apartments and residence halls. There are 14 different housing options around the campus, some of which are all-female whilst others are co-ed. Some of the residences are only available for freshmen or final year students. Different residences have different entry requirements, including a certain GPA for access to the best accommodation.

The university has several famous alumni, the most famous of which were Bill and Hilary Clinton who both graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
